2022 is starting off with some exciting news!
As those who have been following my Instagram journey already know, I spent the later months of 2021 writing a Gothic horror short story A Drink for the Bride. Only recently have I publicly announced that it will be published alongside some of my favorite author friends in the Forbidden Delights anthology February 14th. (So soon!)
What NO ONE yet knows, (literally no one, except my husband and those who are involved in the book itself), is that another story of mine will be published in the first-ever Moms Who Write anthology some time this spring!
I am supremely honored to be in this anthology because, just a few years ago, I never would have thought I'd know a community of other 'moms who write'. This opportunity is very special to me. My two life-purposes wrapped into a single package: momming and writing. I can't wait to share more details when I have them.
There are more projects on the horizon, so hopefully this isn't all there will be for 2022. But even if it is, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for those who have selected me to write for them. Already, I've had so much fun and made incredible connections with other authors. And I cannot wait to have these stories out in the world. A Drink for the Bride is one of my all-time favorites I've written, as it truly encompasses my lavish writing style and interests - and the short story to be shared in the Moms Who Write anthology is so very personal and dear to my heart; certainly a different take on the writing my readers have seen from me so far. My hope for this one is that other parents who have felt alone in this particular issue may read it and feel 'seen'.
Thank you all for the support you've given! And please stay tuned for more details to be announced
